Our Lodge set up a booth to participate in the Annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the City of Monroe. Many community organizations were present. With the egg-cellent assistance of the Rainbow Girls from Everett Assembly #9, who demonstrated great rapport with the kids of all ages, we handed out bright blue balloons with our Lodge name and lots and lots of candy. Several of the balloons traveled to great heights as they were accidentally released, one pausing for a short rest in a nearby tree. Over 250 balloons were given out and with the new safety valves on the balloons inflation went very fast, so we were able to keep pace with the Rainbow Girls handing them out. It was a great time of fellowship for the Brothers and the girls. And the community got a little more knowledge about Freemasonry. Thanks to all who participated.
